  I was treated to lunch by family yesterday and have to say the meal was delicious. All enjoyed their chosen dishes - it really was first class presentation and a wonderful experience. However (and this is based on observation and from a hospitity point of view) you really must train your staff on food safety legislation and hygiene. Being sat opposite the gents wc I observed not 2 but three members of male staff go to the toilets in their aprons and then immediately return to the kitchen prep area. "Cross contamination" is a swear phrase in the hospitality game and I would have expected higher standards from such an establishment!! Please, revisit your training - basic level 2 in hygiene states if you leave a prep area be sure to remove/replace your apron!

  Fantastic food which seems to have gone up another level since the refurb. Great friendly staff, Rosie and Glen run a brilliant friendly and welcoming team. Always a good selection of beer with 3 guest ales on top of the brewery selections. The beer garden is a hidden gem too with stunning views across the valley and a real sun trap in the summer.

  Really nice food and staff. Love the atmosphere and worth a visit! I hear the restaurant is due an extension.

  Recent refurbish to the restaurant and looks even better, with great food, staff and atmosphere. Food and drinks were brilliant and definitely would visit again.

  Recently refurbished. Excellent new extension, modern and airy. Bar area retains pub atmosphere. Good food and service. Maybe slightly expensive. Car park small and spaces very tight. Worth a visit.
