  Wouldnt even give this place 1 star, was made to feel very uncomfortable by all staff, specially manager/supervisor! I had ordered the pie of the day which was ment to be steak and ale pie wether that was what i was given is another story!! However what i got served was just mush and slop, i had taken one bite and just didnt like it, im not fussy (honestly) but what i was given was awful, so i had spoke to the waitor and explained and he said thats fine and if wanted anything else, so as i thought it was sorted the manager had come over so rudely and cleary pissed off, amd said whats wrong with the pie, i explained and the responxe was "well thats just our pie so im going to charge you" now i wasnt expecting to not be charged for it however to be completly disregarded was certainly not ok!! We were ignored for the rest of our visit and were made to feel like we needed to go!! I would never go there again and would definatly not recommend, im not one to complain but im just so annoyed at the way we got treated!!

  Impeccable!!
  I visited Owens with my friend last night. I was blown away by the food. I ordered open fish pie and had a bakewell tart for dessert. The food was absolutely beautiful. I am a foodie and quite educated with regards to food. It has been a while since I have tasted food of such high standard. The price was very reasonable; and I will be most certainly visiting again - no doubt!!
  The hygiene; ambience and the decor was warm and inviting. The staff were very attentive and polite.
